What can I expect when I receive an X-ray at Clarity Care?

When you undergo an X-ray at Clarity Care, you can rest easy under the care of highly trained staff with the utmost level of professionalism, expertise. and efficiency. During your procedure, you can expect:

  • Preparation: Depending on the area that will require an X-ray, you may be asked to change into a hospital gown and to remove any metal jewelry or objects that might interfere with the X-ray images.
  • Positioning: The radiologist will assist you in properly positioning your body for the X-ray in order to capture the required images from different angles.
  • Image Capture: From there, you will be asked to remain still and hold your breath while images are taken. The entire process is quick and painless.
  • Review of images: The radiologist will review the images to ensure they are high quality and take additional images as needed.
  • Results: The X-ray results are interpreted by a radiologist and a report of their findings is generated. The results will be sent to your provider, who will discuss next steps and any necessary follow up.

Yes, a doctor's order is required. If your doctor ordered a CT scan for you, call Clarity Care today to discuss your estimated out-of-pocket costs and schedule an appointment at our office in Lenexa, Kansas, where we are committed to providing exceptional care and helping you achieve optimal health.
