Dr. Conaway Featured on Great Day KC to Discuss Knee Pain Treatment

Clarity Care is proud to share that our own Dr. Jeffrey Conaway was recently featured on Great Day KC, where he discussed knee osteoarthritis and a minimally invasive knee pain treatment option that is helping patients find relief without surgery.

Knee osteoarthritis affects millions of Americans, often causing chronic pain, stiffness, swelling, and limitations that can make everyday activities—like walking, climbing stairs, or staying active—increasingly difficult. During the interview, Dr. Conaway explained why these symptoms occur and how inflammation within the knee joint plays a major role in ongoing pain. He also highlighted how image-guided, minimally invasive procedures can target that inflammation directly—without the need for open surgery.

One of the key treatments discussed was Genicular Artery Embolization (GAE), an outpatient procedure that reduces abnormal blood flow contributing to inflammation in the knee.
